Member: 1607267 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | ![]() How do you properly remove the charging port flex cable from the motherboard on the iPad Mini? I used a heat gun at 280C to remove it but it left a bunch of conductive glue behind that doesn't want to come off without damaging the contact pads. Don't want to use a blade to scrape it off as I'm worried it'll cause even more damage. |

Member: 1607267 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Nevermind, just gotta turn up the heat to get it off. Went up to the max 450C but I'm sure it could easily go lower. Gonna try next time to find the right temp without overdoing it just in case. |
