I fixed error 53.................


You just need to put this IC from original flex to a after market with a good quality and restore it and BOOOOOM u r done.

Any proof of this. I was under the impression this IC was only a power IC and the actual serial for the A8 to check is stored on the touch ID itself.

i did it and it worked. it was luck or solution, i dont care.

...he is just experimenting,he has the board and the original touch assembly,now maybe the track of flex for home button is defective ,what he do, he detached the original home button ic and put it on the new flex assembly then restore... See he's happy... WhataNeophyte!

what about the iphone 6 error 53?
did anyone fix this error?

bcoz i have iphone 6 here error 53,and the original touch id is already broken.
i have no choice to change the new one,when i restore always shows error 53...
pls help me to those who know how to fix this error.

the phone was giving me error 53! i changed it it restored. finger touch never worked but phone is on!!

I Did that last month on ipad mini 3 and it's work. just careful and dont heat flex too much.

yes I had also faced the same kind of stuation but unfotunatly it helped only one so far, others had to replace the ic from the bad flex. So I guess there must be some versions of flexes that compatible with the main pcb..

the flex shown above is from iphone 5s and there is no such thing as error 53 in 5s.
