Mobile boards repairs process is composed of 3 steps : preheating, soldering/De-solder, and Cooling.

• Preheating: Circuit boards travel through a linear heat tunnel (Can not be speed) to carry out preheating and activate flux. eg, For iPhone, if heat too fast, the Board Shape will be changed and RAM will be damage too (Because rapid heating causes air expansion inside the CPU), So take care while using cheaper and no overheat protection station.

• Soldering/De-solder: As temperature constantly rises, solder paste becomes liquid with a wave formed from the edge boards that travel above. Components can be easily removed or solidly bonded on boards.

• Cooling: To gradually cool the processed board and solidify the solder joints , It may be that the ramp rate is less critical above certain temperatures, however, the maximum allowable slope for any component should apply whether the component is heating up or cooling down. A cooling rate of 3-4°C per second is commonly suggested.

• It's an old saying, but true, you need the right tools to do the job properly. For iPhone Mobile rework, the equipment used must have the sophistication, the flexibility, and the capability to sustain a controlled, predictable and repeatable process.This includes closed-loop thermal sensing and control, the robustness to be able to deliver heat as the process requires, and product handling capabilities for removal and replacement. This iPhone X Touch Screen is not work, Because of L/R Board have solder joint problem, in this case we use iREWORK resoldering L/R Board and problem fixed ! while we use the iPOWER X Box test to ensure that working properly.

Repair Check steps:

Setup iPOWER X Output to be 4.2V /2A
Connect Circuit board to iPOWER X via flex data cable
Open iPOWER X Software, press "Start" button and then click on "PLUSE"



The Phone Working flow:


A, Once "PLUSE" pressed, if the Phone current show around 0.04A, this mean's CPU start to working

B, If the current go up around 0.08A and moving from side to side, this mean's RAM start to working

C, If the current go up around 0.12A and moving from side to side, this mean GPU power on and screen start working

D, if the current go up around 0.22A, this mean's Phone will show Apple logo and preparing booting

E, if the current go up 0.18~0.35A, this mean's Phone start preparing system

F, if the current go up around 0.5A and moving from side to side, and then go down 0.2A, Phone booting and preparing other related

G, if the current go up around 0.7A, baseband processor start to working

H, At the end current go up more than 1A and so on
