iP7 No sound at all - u3101 done - GSM-Forum

Hi all, I have done many iPhone 7 audio ic repairs making the 4 jumpers but I have an odd one.

THis has came from another soldering shop, they couldn't fix it.

The phone has no sound at all.

If you press the volume buttons you can't see the volume level just shows the pop up.

Voice memo button greyed out, none of the mics work.

I had replaced the main audio ic twice with different chips and done 4 jumpers so I am pretty blooming certain it's not this chip.

Any advice please any one? Haven't seen it like this so far

Audio ic comes with many broken print these days, not only one. To find them you have to use microscope and experienced eye.

Did you try to change charging flex? if yes, check if there is any broken or missing caps near J4101.

There is no sound at all from any speaker, voice memo record is greyed out loud speaker in calls is greyed out.

This is common on iphone 7 has nothing to do with j4101.

It did suddenly all work earlier i took it apart and stopped again.

Sorry, I think my eyes get older.

btw,

I have wrote 2 line on my earlier post, one for audio ic (I saw you mention jumper) as you are so confident about ic what else should have mention?

People are so on to audio ic for 7 and 7plus these days, it is very normal we miss normal things when we dig in deep.

We just tried to help each other here brother, not asking money, if you don't like you can just simply ignore the reply,,,,
