Member: 2891996 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | iPAD 7th gen 60ma 0.60A no display 3rd one now. "only with battery connected" 0.60A no change flat current draw. Thermal shows slight heating of PMIC and CPU which appear normal. Not real hot but does not show any shorts. I have tested for shorts and have not found any. Is this the beginnings of a new problem we will be seeing all the time? Have you guys seen this in your shops? PM me please! |

Member: 1939450 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 165 | ipad 7th is a piece of sh*t... Problem is had so far with it, no backlight due to failure on backight ic. Fully no touch (couldnt fix it saidly) Not charging, changing dock, tristar and PMIC didnt solve it. Keeps failing on tristar tester.... Air dead, short on around PMIC probably on pp_vvc_main. (could visually see the ****n capacitor.) Regarding your topic. I guess you checked if it does boot? Wat does 3Utools show in the log terminal during restore? What error kicks back? (if it detects at all in 3utools) What does external power supply show on the +- connector in amps on 4.2 Volt (so use power supply as a battery) |
