[question] iPad 4 wont turn on - GSM-Forum

Hi,

A customer brought me an iPad 4 ( 3g ) and it wont boot.... ( out of the blue )
Tryed an other battery but this did not solve the problem....

Could anyone tell me what could fix this problem?
Maybe it's the PMIC but i dont know how to find out ...

check if PMIC gets hot when trying to turn on or plug in battery, if so its short, check related components if everything is fine replace the PMIC

HI, nothing gets hot even the PMIC.

Are there some mesure points i have to check?

Check if PC recognizes it?? Try new charging port..

Pc dos not recognize and already changed port. Also new battery does not work...

bro change new battery, if the device will work then wait till the battery charge fully drain and charge it again if the device wont charge then change the u2 ic
this is always ipad 4 problem, I've try this before and it work for me

Hi,

The device dos not doe anything nothing on the screen even whenn charging...

On the iPad charger the PMIC? gets realy hot!

So i guess replacing it?
