Iphone 3GS Logic Board Missing Component - GSM-Forum

Hi, I have an iPhone 3GS Logic Board which is missing a component close to the antenna connector (The largest one). I can't tell whether it is a capacitor or inductor. If someone could provide me some info about it, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm sorry I'm not providing pictures, the form on the forum is not letting me upload any.

Hey, mustafa. Thanks for trying to help. But that's not what I'm looking for. I circled the one component I want in red. You can see it in the picture I linked in my second post.

do you mean soldering a wire on both end of the capacitator to the metal part of the board?

Wow!!! It's been a long time since i posted this. Anyway, for my problem it is an inductor; short will also work.

Hello,

I have simillar problem but I don't have coil under connector 4 (dock connector). Pins where should be IC coil are missing.

Any solution for that?
