Its epoxy resin, look on well known auction site for remover, heat with small tip iron works well, also small craft knife helps (carefully, lol).

Please not mention knifes here on forum because i have seen how they cut tracks around ics.

Any trustable source for 3GS power module?? I got some pcs from Byeforapple but most of them didn;t work.

I know this problem! I bought sometime 50pcs. only 4 worked!! Money: bye bye!!!

I had a trustable source, but my contact person was fired from his boss....now i have another source, but very expensibe (about 56$ / pc).

A good tipp: Buy only Chips in the black original packing. then you can be 80% sure that they are ok! All bad chips are packed between 2 transparent plastic foils.

Oh my... this is vintage for me as mobile tech days of my life, i wish i could still do this things someday with new tools and equipment nowadays run so fast, everything is high tech i wonder if i still can make it with thin mobo and smaller parts, my goodness i think i will burn it... have a good day to technicians in the world. you have a great skills.
