Iphone 4 bottom part of touch screen won't respond to touch....

Need help with the Iphone 4 I have. It turns on and works fine, but the bottom part of the touch screen "slide to unlock" area won't respond to touch. Tested it with many other screens, the same problem each time. Any ideas?
