iPhone4 (NO network, bluetooth or wifi) - GSM-Forum

Hi, i have in hands a iPhone 4 32GB.. The phone was in the middle of a fight! It was trow against the floor real hard.

I don't know HOW but the Display+Touchscreen is without a scratch, camera working, phone is working with 5.0.1 custom-firmware. I had to activate through redsnow because Apple doesn't want to activate it (There is a problem with your iphone and we cannot activate) After finally activate the phone has no IMEI, Bluetooth address or Wifi Address... That was why they could not activate the iphone.

It is incredible but the iphone is working perfectly.. except for that. both camera, etc.

The iphone physically has the back door broken, and the metal reel that covers the iphone around it is a little bit twisted in the side of the vibrator button.

Any ideas??? Phone was never near around water... NO heat anywhere!!!

i took all the parts apart and fixed the metal reel twist... Know is almost not visible the damage except the back door...

Still the phone has the problem with the baseband..

If you get no imei, no wifi, no service, ... then it's a baseband problem.
If fell down or damaged with serious water then this is the fault you will get.

Solution is to replace the baseband ic chip with a new one!

Mobile planet tryed to help you,

most of cases, this problem its caused by battery..not properly ways or smth else...plenty times this problems with ip4 no wifi no imei, caused by battery ways..or

than you must check baseband area, try clean properly and having a bit rehoot on chip, not too much heat..worth trying, wont loose anything

I know its been a very long time but have someone fixed this issue ?
I have an Iphone in the exactly situation.
No service, no imei, no wifi and cant connect to ITunes, get "something is wrong with your iphone"
Where is the baseband chip so I can try to clean and rehot ?
