I also heard that reheating the small white thingy beside it worked. Can someone explain this or have any knowledge of it? I circled it in red. IMG_5508_new.jpg |

Member: 1952353 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | So that didnt work. But I went back and did as you said, trying to reheat the wifi module this time. I removed the sticker and heated it with a soldering iron and some aluminum foil. Not sure how you guys manage to get it 300C, but i heated it enough for it to feel very hot. Then I reattached the black sticker and put the Iphone back together and Yes it worked! But I must say, it feels just like the fix that the hairdryer does too, so Im not surprise if it stops working after awhile. If you guys manage to get it to 300C, I guess it takes a lot longer for it to cool down, so it seems to be solved, but when its actually just temporary. Who knows? Please tell me if Im wrong, just thinking out loud. ![]() |

Member: 88333 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 48 | people heat the component so that all the little circuits in that part of the phone get hot so they get removed from the motherboard and then as soon they chill out the RE-attach to the motherboard way better then they were attached before,so that doesnt mean that the wifi will work only when the component are hot instead it will work when they chill out and all the componets REATTACH to the motherboard! i hope i was able to explain myself kentxy! |

Member: 1012778 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 245 | @azadtahir: On the 4 is it another module. Reheat doesn't help in the most case there, so let it better be. Was it a water-damage on your boards? First, check if you have 1.5V at L21_RF. If not, You have open the module and check for corrosion. If you see any, repair this track: ![]() |

Member: 1012778 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 245 | It's in the wi-fi module self. you have to remove the Metal-Shield (soldered). But take care when you are not a professional, it's nearly impossible!!! |
