iphone 5, error 4013
 

Hello,

I have iphone 5 when try to restore get error 4013, and the error lines on iphone lcd, (take a look)

by the way, i rty to change
1 cable
2 new battery
3 new charger / usb flat cable

Which version ios do u use, and make sure 3 things
1. restart ur pc
2.try diff usb port


Note: few days back i receive same issue yesterday only its solved ios 7.04 to 7.1.2

i try 3 diffirent pc, and 2 good usb cable.

i do not know what was the ver, because this is for my customer

Put the phone in DFU mode and shutdown and completely turn off ur internet connection after 1 min restart it > pc, dont start any programme , click on itunes > and locate the ios and complete it, few mins back i have done> its works

Disconnect front camera flex, try sw update like that.

I think it's the compass ic U16, i had the same problem, after desolder U16 everything was OK!!;)

pls remove compass ic near (front camera,spkr,sensor) connector

Bro just put jumper on c133 to c303

+1 for U16 solution. If removing front camera flex does not fix this issue, try removing U16 IC (near front camera flex/screwhole) and phone should restore properly. Thanks for this solution!
