So i've been seeing customers come in with home button issues. Touch ID is working but does not click. I have changed the backplate flex but does not fix issue. With new home button it clicks but no touch id. Any idea how to fix original home button?

I made solution if your touch id still works but the click doesnt.
Or your cable is broken in two and you want to fix only click function.

You only have to bridge from the switch till the cap and the resistor.
The bridge from the cap and the resistor to the connector is only needed when the connector is missing or damaged.

Should i have continuity between those two spots when i click on the button ?

I just checked and i have no continuity between the 2 sides of the green line and it’s the same for the red line. No continuity neither between the two points on the clickable part, even if i click.
Is it normal doctor ?

You can check it again from iFix Egypt. I as facing same issue last month and someone suggested me this store. They checked my phone and repair it within 1 hour.
