hi
i recently get iphone 4 its getting hang with apple logo when i tried to restore 6.0.1 I get "The iPhone could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (-1). now phone shownig itunes logo any solutions please post here

download again new firmware....-1 means firmware problem

i download ios 5.1.1 and 6.0.1 but same problem

Hi. Last week I had two 4s with error -1 on my table. Solutions were:

1) Cleaned corrosion around amplifier chips (I think BATT_VCC_FET line was partly short)
2) U18_RF were bad, so I took this from a scrap board. It is an AND gate, so I believe you should be able to jump this (feeding BB_HSIC_RDY voltage), I would not recommend it though, get a replacement part it's not a hard IC to solder.

Also you should inspect capacitors around U4. Hope this helps.

Error -1 Modem Firmware did not got updated,if phone dropped reball BB CPU,BB NAND and PMIC.
If phone water damaged check voltages and 2 coils near BB CPU there was an solution in (tested solutions thread) just search.

my iphone 4s ,was in water damaged ,its on recovery mode and i cant restore that, its going truth until coming iphone up and then give
the iphone could not be restored an unknown error occurred (-1)
anyone knows about this?how can i fix it?
