iPhone Hardware problems in one thread

Hi,
Sir i have problem in iphone 3gs and iphone 4g, the ringer is working in normal way, but when we connect a call, during call the ringer, hearing speaker and handsfree don't work.
Plz help me to solve this problem permanently.....

Hi Bro,
Long time no see you!

So i was looking some help here on the forum but no find the solution.
Got a 3GS with 2 problems.
1st issue
Home bottom doesn't work. I had try fix it with some post wich is on hardware solution thread. no luck.

2nd
When try to power up pluged to dock connector the phone going to recovery mode.
If i power up only with baterry the phone going ok.
I had change the dock and stay the same.

You see it goes directly to recovery because Menu key is short to gnd.
Remove DZ9 first from top you can remove all this in picture.

Press thanks if solve i will know if worked.

Hi bro,
I think the problem it's not there,
I had check the Dz's and they not shorting with gnd.

The problem is when i power up with charging with dock.
The phone going to recovery.
When i power without charging the phone power up ok.

I don't have home buttom too.
It's strage because i can put the phone on DFU mode.

THEY MUST BE REMOVED THEY WILL NOT SHOW SHORT WITH MULTIMETER
if you do not want to remove that varistor then not ask me what to do.

Hi,

I have iphone 2g with one problem: on board microphone is not working (sound working, microphone on handsfree is working). The problem is on the motherboard (same results with with different, working dock cables). What could I check on motherboard? Thanks for the help!

i thougt they can be tested by multmeter.

3gs turn on only with usb charger,or home button

Hi Bro,

So you are completly right.
The varistors are damage.
The logic works like a charm after remove the 4 varistors.
Please, i'm so sorry for what you have think when i sayed what i sayed.
I thought they must to had continued between them and i can measure from a multimeter.

So as you know i always say to you, that's i a be grateful to learn with you.
