The voltages are comming trough.
Also after the second FET.

Yesterday the phone started to power-up, only reboots all the time.
Aplle logo and reboot.
No reaction on any of the buttons.

Now there are some of the 3V power supplies missing.....

From left to right all voltages on the capacitors (located above the PMIC)

3V LCD missing
3.3V ACC missing
3V Video pressent
C213 has Vbat pressent
3V cam has 2.8V
3V optical missing
3V IO only 1.066V ??
HP detect bias missing

Can it be that the PMIC is partly broken?
Why did it work yesterday?

Check also all coils if they generate voltages.
Charge battery externally 4.2V is the limit.
Did it detect by PC,if yes try restore.

Maybe this is a bit off topic but I have some questions about tools to use.

1. When buying a multimeter, what do I have to look for? What measure areas are needed?
2. Wites, you refered to a service dc power, can you please explain or link to what this is?
3. For test what components on the logic board that getting hot, is an Infrared thermometer good for this?
4. For doing jumpers, what wire do you use? And is it possible to just use tin when it's just between two points?

Thank you in advance!

I will check.
i have the impression the 4.2 Volts is not there, since the battery voltage is not increasing.
I have measured the voltages while no display present.

Unfortunately no detection by the PC.
As soon as that works i will restore the phone.

Make this jumper then try to charge.

I mean to charge battery externally & not to give more than 4.2V to battery.

1.Multimeter with diodes,continuity,resistors,voltages testing.
2.Something like this Guangzhou XinYue Co.Ltd
3.Don't know about infrared thermometer try it,i check with my lips for
heating components.
4.To make jumpers use thin wire from some damaged speaker/earpiece.

OK
i know CC CV charging for lithium batteries.
With the max voltage set to 4.2Volts

Update on this phone:

Unit is booting when the charger is connected.
but after that is restarts all the time.

It looks like the power button is not detected.
Although i can get into DFU mode ????

Trying to restore the unit goes trough a restart and then it hangs in restart loops again.

So power button is detected to put the phone into DFU mode.
But not detected to power-on the phone .
