Hi folks

Changed out my screen and since replacing it my internal speaker seems to be dead. I tried to swap to another speaker module but that is dead also so clearly the problem is elsewhere and presumably as a result of my screen change!

I've had a good run through all of the connectors that I've moved and all appear to be good.

The earpiece speaker works fine as does the headphone jack and the external dock connector.

Thoughts welcomed from anyone who knows their way around the innards of an Iphone 4!

hi wites i have a iphone whit camera front problem some time freeze and noise imagen do you know if this camere is related whit pmic i reball the pmic the iphone 4 because is dead and work again but the only problem is the front camera only work for a moment and now the noise is motherboard problem

Did you test with other camera,if no try other?

yes i try whit other and is the same and in other working board the cameras work i solve similar problem in iphone 3g 2g i change filter but on this board iphone 4 i dont know i remplace the filter near from connector of front camera but nothing

i found this picture of you and was just thanking *** that you are here for helping us so *** bless you really,

i have a motherboard 3gs 16gb which everything works perfect only the backlight problem which i have changed the 6r8 3-4 times then i have a 2000watt hot air gun (normal for paint etcc.. with 2 stands of 300c and 600c), but i wrapped the motherboard with kapton tape and could remove in 1 minute the 109ic (it was the 1st time for me) but looks ok and backlight didn't work then i was doubting if i did it not ok,, then again replace it and also not working , made long jumper from pin 1 (109ic)to pin 3 at lcd connector with a thin cable and also no joy,

SO THIS METHOD (in you picutre) will be my charm ! and you think gonna work ( i don't have multimeter to test diodes behind) even if i have i don't know where should i put the meter on voltage or another place and the red or black color meter pins to be on which point or no matter.

i have soldered on this motherboard connector 1 (lcd) which was damaged and i wel soldered it ,but there is some solder on the pins above so it is not more copper colour but a silver color from solder ( i tried as much as i can to remove that using chipquik flux with wrick desolder wire ) but still no backlight... so i don't think that this is the problem .

should i now only make jumper (soldering thin wire as the green and the red line on the picture , so only from the begin point green to pin 1 and red point to pin 3 or Pin 2 cause in the picture seems no. 2 and not 3? is this right ???

please i need your advice very badly ,

I not think that solder on gold plated pins is problem.
First is green second is red.
Components in second photo is not related to light.
In third photo is also right how you draw but before make jumpers check this 2 ways if they arrive to LCD connector then no need to make red and green,also check 2 black filter with multimeter they must show from 0 omh to 1 omh this mean they are good if nothing show they are bad,also check between green and red that they not short with each other,post result.

Thanks a million Mr. Wites, i have a normal meter , phtoto attached ,is this ok do you think ? cause i never used it , only to test a voltage for batteries, but pls which things i can put on it to use it for diodes please, so pls which stand i can use like 20K or 20m or
this meter doesn't support what i want.!
otherwise i just make the green and red and try (blind test you can say).
