Try holding power and home together for 10 seconds - it works on 3G to reset LCD, I don't know if it works on 2G also.

hi i have got iphone 3g 16 gb .when i restrore it with 4.1 ..it give me error 23 .which means it is a hardware failure ...can any one help how can i fix it .

n use file CUSTOM firmware 4.1.n itune restore

ur probalam clear
