cannot restore firmware even with DFU mode, it hangs at the end and does absolutely nothing. here's a picture of what it says in itunes and the phone

I have uplocked my iphone and it is now on 2.2 firmware. I used it successfully with 2.2 version till today. Today when i slided the phone to answer a phone call, it started to make continuous sound. I switched off the phone and restarted the phone. When i restarted my iphone, signal was not coming and i was not able to receive or make phone calls. A message displayed on iphone that "Restore your iphone from itunes - iphone cannot receive or make phone calls, restore iphone from itunes". I connected my iphone to computer and from summary page clicked on shift + restore and selected 2.2 custom firmware. It restored to 2.2 firmware factory settings but no signal, no audio, no wifi, no bluetooth. Tried to play songs from iphone using ipod but no sound output was coming.

There is no IMEI, ICCID, MODEM firmware, no wi-fi address, no network, carrier is having (null) (null), Bluetooth is 00:00:00:00:00:00

I am new to iphone, so please give me step by step procedure and please help me to make my iphone work.

put the iphone in dfu mode and restore,then do quick pwn and then update with the same version.all will be ok.

download the correct model and version file and restore(2g/3g)

reinstall dotnet fix2.0 and restore in dfu mode

am downloading the software from the itunes and when i restore it , it gives me 1604 error
the the phone is in recovery mode .. and the iphone is not being changed from sync screen .. what can i do ???

Hi thanks for the reply, i tried to put the iphone in DFU mode by pressing on/off button and home button and i received message in iTunes that phone is in restore mode and to make it work you should restore it. Then i clicked the restore button by holding shift key. A pop-up window came asking for the firmware file, i used the 2.2 custom firmware which I used to upgrade from 2.1 to 2.2.
2.2 Firmware restored successfully on iphone without any messages in iTunes but the problem which i mentioned is not solved. My iphone 2g does not has any service, no imei, no wi-fi, no bluetooth.

I did this for more than 3, 4 times but everytime i got the same result. My problem is not resolved. Please help me.
