Post Front Camera not working


Hi guys we replaced Digitizer and LCD on iphone 6.
Repair went well. after testing front camera will not work and also the headset ear speaker not working. anything to check beofre buying new ribbon camera unit?

Check if your rear camera still works and torch light.
If they dont work, you need to jumper ic u2301 and no need to replace the camera.
If all works fine, accept the front cam. Replace the front flex.

right i got new front flex and was working now i put everything back and i have got a black screen? any advice on this.

It could be, you have damaged the board. You used a long screw at the LCD connector. Now the tracks under the screw hole are cut or shorted.

I didn't use long screw by the lcd connectors only the 1 at the end the is slightly longer. That's where it was located. What can be done now?

Take the screw mount of the board. You can remove it with your soldering iron. Its low melting solder.
You have to gently scrape away the black top layer. And under there you find very small board tracks.
You have to connect every broken connection.

Its the same as repairing an iphone 5s with blue screen and error 9 and 14. Fixing the damaged tracks.
