Member: 4611 Status: Online Thanks Meter: 68 | iPhone X dead after battery swap 10 minutes later customer returns saying the phone just went off. Tested the battery, 0v. Plugged in with any battery, the phone draws 430ma. remove the battery and 0ma. There's 5v going to the battery connector. This was as far as I've tested the board as the customer brought it back to us after closing time. It's my first dead X, and it will be my first job in the morning.. has anyone any ideas? I've tried 3 other batteries that had charge in them and the phone still only draws 430ma. hopefully, there's just a short somewhere....but I don't have high hopes with it drawing the 430ma. Thank You for any help offered. |
