IPhone xs not charging, Replace Tirgis charging ic. SN2600B1, same ic as iPhone XR

You can check the charger port for dust and lint inside.

XS Max charging 0% after water damage

Does changing the charging ic also fixes the problem with phone shows 0% while charging and battery is not original problem? Phone was dropped in water. Thank you for helping out .
