Ipod touch 2g Hardver issue
 

Hi everyone !

I have an ipod touch 2g and it's show the apple logo and a few second afterit restart. Itunes can't recognized it. The home button broken up from the board so i can't reset it or trying to put it in dfu mode. I changed the battery but the problem is still exist.can anybody help me ?

Is it water damaged or dropped only itunes not recognize or pc same not see it?

it's a used one so i don't know too much of it's past, i got it in this condition, but the water indicator is white so i think it's not water damaged. The pc can't see it as well :(.

I almost forget it i think it might be dropped, because the digitalizer was broken.

Resolder Board to Board connectors then clean with thinner post result.

with out home butten no way phone to put in dfu mode

I know that's why i wrote it in my first comment, that i can't put it in dfu because the board damaged and the part of the homebutton on the board broken(solder pads missing, can't be repaired). However i heard that kind of software wich can be put ipod in dfu mode without any button. I saw it also in youtube if i found it i will link it here.

I found that link. I don't know it's really working because i never tried it yet but it seems pretty cool.
