New user: setup error! -F
 

Hi all

I'm a new user, and trying to install riff box, when I run the setup I get
"Setup error! -F"

Any help?? I have had this box for well 1 year, but never needed it before now. Im running Windows 8

Maybe it's some compatibility issue. Why would You use Windows 8 anyway, it's horrible.

can any post a full setup?? Well my windows 7 machine is dead :p

RIFF Box ? Best JTAG Box in this Galaxy :) - there You can download setup file.

You could try to set up compatibility mode on installer app.

I can only find:
RiffSetup.exe

And I get that f'ing error... I have already tried setting up compatibility mode :confused:

I'll check on my Win8 setup and let You know by tomorrow.

help.. can run riff setup.exe error appears
 

MSVCR100.dll was not found.... i already tried to reinstall Vc++ but still the same... any other way to solve this problem please?

Download i new instell exe then try.

retried downloading new setup file but still the same... thanks for the reply.

frist install C++
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Centre

then install riff box working fine

done that but still the same

downlaod this u r prb will be slove

search dll on google and place it on windows/system32 folder... (sometimes works on windows/system folder too)
