Riff Box and EMMC Direct

The Riff Box has proven he is the best Jtag for repair in advanced handsets dead, but we users always imagined she could go further, such as: Direct connection to the EMMC Chip. On the other hand we do not know if this is possible, if there is a hardware limitation in the Riff Box, do not know if the team is working hard to solve and add these models that require direct connection. These are the questions we all want to know. Legija Please could you answer these questions? Thanks and good job to all.

Hi
Why Not See...??? Why you need direct eMMC..?
--
This is a Rules:

1-if eMMC is Fine,You Can Repair Via JTAG Interface
2-if eMMC is bad,You Can't Repair Over JTAG or Direct
-
For Unsupported Phone,You Can use JTAG Interface Plus "DCC Page or Plugin"
For Disabled JTAG Access Like New Exynos,You Can Use Officially SD Method...?

So,What is Logic for Direct??? Even We have greate(Realy Great) Plugin For eMMC,

Sir ! The direct eMMC is useful! Can solve some problems that cannot be solved by JTAG. for example:a Korea's NOTE2 SHV-E250S write the wrong ROM, can enter the download mode, but can't write back to the original ROM.Finally use a friend's Easy-jtag through the direct eMMC repair was successful.

yes..i agree with u sir...riff box has give enough and clear information...
in this tread :

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f634...tions-1619226/

in that tread there is a stupid post by my self.. because i don't read carefully what mr.legija and mr.babak says in that tread also what riff box can do...

then i read over and over ..finnaly i got little light. about EMMC failure
with all mr.legija and mr.babak explanation. i can solve my case.

so Now if i have case EMMC Failure i use riff box to diagnose(if supported) and i use Mr.babak rule to solve my problem. 1000000% work!!!!!

thank to Riff Box and all support

The logic there is - read good memory image from alive sets without desoldering chip, then next step clone readed image to blank chip, very usefull for devices that have disable jtag. For example - how can you revive acer a100 or htc pj46100 with damaged boot? ?

Hi Dear Nicolayer

Can You Tell us How You Can Brick PJ46100...? This Phone is based on Tegra3 and Never Can Write Wrong Img,So if anyone with anyway can brick PJ46100,,We Have NV-Flash For Repair Bricked Phone
--

--
Also We Never (Until Now) Can Clone SBK... I Have P7500,PJ46100,Need Replace eMMC,Both Phone is Alive but UMS not Avillable,,,Also i have first 1GB of Both Phone....But Cloning eMMC Not Work
--

Please Note.i neve say direct eMMC is Bad....Is Good For Some Case, but usefull only for 5% of Phone Marketing with disabled JTAG Access...But You Think How Many Users Can Cloning Phone?
if any users can clone eMMC,They Can use another supported PCB for Preprogram or Writing cloning dump Via JTAG Interface

....

Babak Nuri may not be necessary as you said, but you did not make clear whether there is any impairment of Riff add EMMC Direct. I'll ask again. Is there any hardware limitation in the box Riff?

Pelo que entendi são apenas 3 signais e 2 tensões de trabalho.
O pinout o usuário pode adquirir através do manual de serviço do aparelho.

I also think that there is no limitation, maybe some tweaking, who knows. Perhaps it is possible via an adapter sold separately, and construction of a software adiiconado the manager software that allows your connection without problems. But it is clear that this is not a charge, since not think it's necessary yet, but thinking of the future I believe will be useful. Thanks and good job for you.
