Can't flash att Lumia 1020(RM-877)
 

I'm trying to flash att lumia 1020 with rogers canada fw(also RM-877) because
I'd like to unlock AWS band(1700 MHz) which seems to be locked in att version,
so that I could get better coverage with t-mobile but I always get error.

I tried to paste logs but I'm not allowed

Or maybe it's possible to change product code?

Logs can be past via "code" tag. BEST keeps log in txt format.

FFU ROOT matching, but, seems, MODEL_ID not same and signature check not pass.
You can flash only ATT rom's.
Try latest version of it - can be chance to your problems will gone.

As far as I know rogers and att version of lumia 1020 have the same hw
they're both RM-877.
It's possible to flash any rom to RM-875 so why it's not for RM-877?
Diffrent radio fw or something?

Is there any way to disable signature checking?
Will bootloader accept it?

Is it possible to change product code in wp8 lumias?

I made only Product ID checking, seems as need check whole name.

Phone will reject flashfile even, if you change product code.
Other way is try flash dump via JTAG - where will be all Bootloader, TZ, UEFI parts from non ATT version. But it require JTAG, solder skill, knowing of structure and security part of flash (DPP backup/restore)

I have nokia tool with jtag and some solder skills;) but I'm not sure if I have
all needed knowledge.

Yeah, you need dump from working phone. Need first 250-300 mb to make fully sure all is Ok.
Also need make DPP partition backup and you can fun. Also make backup dump - good idea.
But all is just a theory, both should be same by HW, and should work after that.

No way, FFU is fully signed and checked. I not remember exactly memory map, but can check it in near days.

Also NVI can hold some RF settings , so, we can try read NVM from working Rogers and write to that one. But also - I not tested that and no have idea what will happen.

I plan run SX4 server in end of next week, if find way to get good internet channel for it. In BEST exist ability to write NVI (Factory settings NVM , specified for model) and NVM (Backup) , but it not activated, because my SX4 server now down.

OK Guess I'm gonna need to find Rogers Lumia 1020 or ask someone to make the dump for me.

Has anyone had any luck with this? I'm trying to flash my ATT Lumia 1020 with any non ATT rom - even the RM-877 light swap. I get the FFU error with anything non ATT. Has anyone figured out how to bypass this check?

Because I can't answer to PM for answer to some questions.
Currently SX4 is offline, because I can't find way to make server. If say simple - not have enough money to do that.
NVM handling and sd uath and rest thing are exist, but only with local SX4.
