Cant unlock Htc Wildfire

Tried unlocking our first one , and it got most of the way through , then when it was searching for the fone it couldnt see it
since that it cannot see the fone anymore
the same pc will read/unlock htc desire ok

what do I need to do ?
I have the fone set to htc sync BUT it never connects to the htc sync on the pc ( neither did the desire , but that still read and unlocked the fone ok )

In fact you must use differents pc for unlock Samsung Androïd phones and HTC androïd phones.

WHY?

Because Many brand and models are using Androïd operating system.
But not all have same versions and same drivers.

So if you need to unlock your HTC androïd phone by Power-Dongle and ever by any other tools using usb unlocking, You must have only HTC androïd drivers installed on your computer.

This from drivers are not compatible.

Don't think you are correct, as i unlock HTC with MicroBox on the same comp as the one i use to unlock Samsung's, never had need to uninstall an Android(Samsung) drivers. Best of luck.

To be able to connect a HTC Wildfire to HTC Sync you need to switch on "USB-Debugging"

its under settings -> applications -> development

hope this helps you
