Member: 331917 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 214 | Can boot be downgraded via emmc? what happens with "sticky" bootloaders?? did you see moto? if you flash with latest version, then, you can not flash again lower boot version... it will allow to flash the other files, but boot is not possible... ok, what happens if you write lower boot via emmc?? would it work? maybe qualcomm fuses are burned during the update, but not 100% sure if this is true, then, no matter if you backup the whole emmc, it will never be downgraded...... :/ thanks |

I am asking this question, because, I will receive a board, with old android version and boot version... so, if I make a complete emmc backup, will it work after boot is updated? thanks |

Member: 2368 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.111111 Thanks Meter: 186,557 | you can flash all what you want in to emmc. but phone will not boot up. in qualcomm mcu exist fuse which can not be changed do low version. mean if once more high version boot flashed to emmc and phone power on, fuse will changed to high version, and with low version of boot inside emmc phone just not boot. so do emmc boot downgrade no any reason. |
