Can cid partition be fixed to get a working phone on moto qualcomm and some others?

is there a way to fix this problem?

for example, you flashed a dead phone with some other phone backup

phone will turn on, but cid will be dead....

is there a way fo fix this problem without a backup?

CID partition contains device unique HW ID, IMEI, etc... with certs and signature/hash. Each CID partition is device unique, you will need original backup otherwise need to send to factory for reprogram.

maybe Blang has a way to repair this problem anyway

so, all dumps from support are useless, or maybe, they should warn, about skip writing CID partition.... :/

There is no way to generate such datablock without Motorola signing with RSA private key. Unless you have original dump from same phone, all dumps are worthless.

Well in case I erased factory format emmc, but before I make a backup, like this

1- After soldering emmc pin conection is ok
2- Read and save Rom 1 512mb (cid ok)
3- Read rom 2 4mb
4- Read rom 3 4mb
5- Save extcsd

Emmc is empty with no partition, how restore step by step?
