Easy Jtag Plus not working consistently anymore

We purchased an easy Jtag plus device in the second half of 2020 and have been using it without any issues over the course of the last 4-6 months.
Recently however we have been having some issues which never were there before. EMMC chips would no longer program properly or throw many errors with all the different types of emmc from different manufacturers. Sometimes the program will freeze randomly during the programming. Reducing the writing speed as well as the MHZ seemed to resolve the issue temporarily. But now no matter what we do we get many errors and often the program actually crashes during the writing. Here is what we have done so far. We tried different computers, we tried different operating systems such as Windows 7 VS Windows 10. We tried different USB ports and different USB cables. We tried to downgrade back to an older version of the software but unfortunately couldn't due to the device's software already updated to the newest version.

Oh, also we have 2 different sockets both have the issue. We also wired the device directly to the board to reprogram a chip while still on the board to confirm and that didn't resolve the problem. We still had to mess around with the MHZ until we went low enough for it to write properly. And then whatever settings we used one day doesn't work the next on the exact same board so we have to adjust again. Sometimes it programs properly but then the chip doesn't work.
I contacted the support on the website was told they can't help and we need to talk to z3x.

z3x, what are your thoughts, how do we fix this?

Oh, I also wanted to mention that when we use our UFPI programmer we don't encounter those issues. And that's when we use the same software

Also the software we are using with both programmers is

eMMC_tool Suite ver. 1.6.4.0 (release date: 30.12.2020)
