If you want to JTAG repair phones you need " Easy JTAG box " because it has :
20 Pins Box Header IDC







This is necessary to connect all wires ( TRST , NRST, TDI , TDO , GND , TMS etc. ) from EASY JTAG BOX to the phone motherboard pins/connections/Jpads



So if you have "Z3X Unlocking/flashing/IMEI repair box" it will NOT work for JTAG.
EASY JTAG Box comes with smart card already, you just have to email /message your seller with smart card information and ask them to activate it on Z3X server.
After confirmation that it is activated, you run Z3X shell " Check for hardware/Register / Upgrade Card version" and download all software needed from Z3x shell.



EASY JTAG BOX has a UART port in the front of the box... so depending on what kind of smart card you have in your "Z3X FLASHING/UNLOCKNG/IMEI Repair BOX" you might be able to add this to EASY JTAG BOX smart card so you can use UART functions to Unlock/IMEI Repair etc.

If you are new to JTAG with practice you will learn to use JTAG adapters or make your own solution with connectors , using different wires etc.

If you activate your EASY JTAG BOX to work like Z3X Unlock/IMEI repair flashing box you should be able to use Z3X UART cables.

Looking forward for an easy jtag....its been explained, thousand times on forum,but still smth unclear to me, if i need unlock from jtag, where its Usb port, since z3x box has it...lets supose i transfer my samsung activation to jtag..

I have z3x box, bought recently....

Dont want to make any noob question, few things to ask, already wrote you in the skype, kindly when you have 5 minutes of your time, for few answers.

usb port on z3x box - this is just 1 more usb box totaly similar like in pc.
for work with phone over usb cable you can use any usb port.

actually i never used usb on z3x box, never worked for me,(box is ok) always from my usb port in front of PC, port 1, never had a single prob with that...
So same think and with Jtag, use any port from any of 12 that it has pc...

bought z3x new with cables, only samsung activation-hardly used it, since handling mostly iphones..
easy jtag will be great having on my desk, hopefully will come in days samsung devices, since price that i payed for z3x box, and easy jtag if i buy, as i saw my option that i have, it a big investment for the moment..
