Someone at my work decided to get an EasyJTAG Plus to read the contents of certain devices on boards we would like to repair. He couldn't get it to work so he asked me to try. I've never done any JTAG stuff but I have a basic understanding of it. So far, it looks like this device is designed to work with phones. That's not at all what we are trying to do. The devices we are initially working with are Xilinx XA2C128, TMS320F2810 and LPC2292 used on controller boards. All we really want to do is pull the firmware off the chips (and write it back). Kind of like one could do via ICSP. Any thoughts, pointers or other help?
