Redmi 7A - eMMC replacement

Is it possible to replace faulty eMMC, in Redmi 7A, with a new eMMC , without replacing CPU as well? Anyone knows?

use any samsung emmc with same bga with same (more) storage capacity with (rpmb clear)

Thank you for your reply. Can you please share your Engineering firmware for that model Redmi 7A that you used? I have one firmware but the flasher says firehose is not correct. Thanks a lot for help
