Member: 3033341 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Oneplus 6 UFS 2.1 BGA 153 data After 6 years my Oneplus 6 just died. I think it was some Hardbrick or something. It was running out of battery, at some point just blocked it self and turned off. Dead. I tried to flash it with another ROM, nothing. The process was successful but still the phone didnt turn on. At the end i just bought another one and i tried to use the old one to practice. So i unsoldered the CPU and i just ruined it opsss. But ive been able to unsolder the internal storage, which is an UFS 2.1 from samsung with a 153 bga. Do i have any chance to recover the data? Or encryption will waste my time? I saw many tools online, also expensive like MedusaPRO, NuProgr and these things. But i dont know if it will work, since i read on this forum that android has encryption enabled by default since version 6/7. Thank you for your attention folks |

Member: 25996 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 254 | Data is encrypted, and FBE (file based encryption) is used in this case. You need w working CPU and storage to decrypt the data. If you damaged the CPU, there's no way to decrypt the data anymore. |
