But i don't have setool. The instructions clearly state it supports hardlocked X10. Do i have to buy Setool to unlock hardlocked X10 ?

It says that you can unlock hardlocked X10.

Hardlocked = Too many wrong unlock codes entered.

when you attach to computer in what state its connects ? i mean in mass mem or what ?
2ndly try to hardreset it and attach it and do unlock
3rd don't forget to use latest ver of x10 unlocking client

I don't know what usb mode it connects.
I can't hardreset because the pc companion tells to connect in memory card mode however i can't see the notification bar and change usb mode.

The old S1 unlock tool were unlocking hardlocked X10 in 10 seconds. :(

Faisal bro, please help me get away with this problem or i will start to believe that this tool is unable unlock hardlocked X10.

The old S1 unlock tool, it wasn't working 7/24 but when it was working it could unlock hardlocked x10 in 10 seconds. Phew.

Problem solved, here is a walkthrough for those who wouldn't enable USB Debugging to continue the process like me.

1- Download flash tool and 2.1 rom for X10a(at&t) / X10i (international)
2- Flash 2.1 rom and you'll access menu, enable usb debugging.


If the software get stuck at 2nd step (wait 20sec) and fails, it will use log without unlocking. Close program and everything, discconnect phone. Disable windows firewall and start from the beginning.

ps : it might report " credit insufficient " , close software, re-enter your login information > save. Start from the beginning.

i instaled all drivers & ADB..
a bit more again
Step 2 takes about 20 sec..

but it steel like that for an 40 minutes..no thing hapend & i think my 2 credits was taken.so you can tell me what is the problem.
but when i steel stuck on this step i was marck on It's not 1.6 android..& te proces continue since it's stuck on.....
