Anybody tell me how repair bad imei in Z5
soft from VirtualM not work
or who can get me flash version < 6.3.2 ????

hello. sorry all, but on russian

ó ìåíÿ áûëà òàêàÿ æå ïðîáëåìà. ñîôò virtual ïðåêðàñíî ðàáîòàåò ñ âåðñèåé ïðîøèâêè 6.3.2 - ëè÷íî ïðîâåðÿë.
ïîñëå âîññòàíîâëåíèÿ ÈÌÅ âñå ïðåêðàñíî ðàáîòàåò.
òàê ÷òî èùè ïðîáëåìû â êàáåëå...
åñëè ÷òî ïèøè .

I have also this problemm. Imie is changed to strange 6e43axxxx. So how to repair this? Now my sonyz5 simlocked,even after correct code is entered.

I think that soft works with only JXX.

try to use soft from virtualM v.2.00.
take it here http://www.gsmfactory.us/software/re...ID=13&TypeID=1

enter good IMEI and press "unlock".
for me work fine. good luck

virtualM not work with my phone
after 10 % remove battery and try again

Hi,

You have to use CTE Terminal sofware.

If you have the prog try this method:

Start CTE Terminal, choose COM port....connect to the phone, if connected:

1. pw (wap code)
2. power off phone and on
3. SLDefault - Clear all SIMLOCKs
4. FactoryReset
5. writeimei (real phone imei)
6. SLDefault
7. FactoryReset

And phone work fine.

P.S. For pw and writeimei
pw 12345678
writeimei 0x12 0x34 0x56 0x78 0x90 0x12 0x34 0x5

WARNING!!!
You can write the WAP CODE to the program only 1 time!!!!!
After it the program won't accept!!!

This is TESTED by me in a Sony J6 (imei was 00000000000), and J70. WORK 100%

i was also tired with direct data cables. Tried many configurations and schematics for Z5.

But at last - one good solution i found for my two sony z5 phones.
one was asking security code - other was sim lock

USE UNIVERSAL BOX & CABLE {cable provided with it}.
It is by default supplied with 9V.

Virtual M works perfect with this cable. For clearing locks you guys can even use GL1 OR GL3 loader.

Virtual M requires a perfect timing skill on starting it up AND on completion of whole process. GL3 also works fine.

I got another Z5 today. simlocked. But i m not able to remove it. I got this result on LCD upon applying *#RELEASE# code. I m posting the result here. If anyone has got a clue, pl let us know.
