Is there anyway to do an IMEI repair for this device if it isn't rooted and running 5.0?

You may try to downgrade the version then upgrade it to the 5.0 again. Or you may extract the kernels from a previous version and flash it onto the 5.0 for the root, then again you'd have to see if towel root supports it this way. More likely to downgrade it (if it's allowed), it's easier.

Hello.

If You have To Repair IMEI of SM-G870A, do the next steps:
1. Enable CP logging in Recovery Mode.
2. Root the phone.
3. Perform Wipe Security procedure ("Repair Security/Wipe Security" button).
4. Write Certificate ("Write Cert" button).

iv'e tried every thing and its not supported

Try to root the phone with latest versions of Towel Root, IRoot and Kingo Root Software.
