It's clearly write what You need to do. You're use and oudated Software version!

I tried to update according to the instructions but still can't open the tool, it keeps repeating like that until I can't update anymore. Give me instructions to fix this. thanks

Please read attentive notification which appear when you launch software!

That mean you need to re-download latest Software version from the Octoplus site or Support Area, then install it and everything should work properly.
