How to unlock SPH-l720 5.0.1 with Octoplus.?? - GSM-Forum

i try to connect and i cant unlock version 5.0.1
is possible to use this phone in Europe GSM network
and another question
its need to phone must be rooted before unlocking procedure

Hello.

To connect SPH-L720 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#9090#" number.
12. Set "Diag config" to "[1]DM/DUM over HS-USB" value.
13. Connect the phone directly to PC.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.

Also, You might need to enable CP logging in Recovery Mode, so that phone could be detected by PC.

Root is not required for "Unlock" operation.

i unlocked the phone ,but i dont have network
i choose GSM in network specification menu
but still searching......
work this phone in europe??????

Yes it will work. But chk the meid if not match with imei then u have to match the meid with imei. And also chk the imei if blklisted.

Please repeat "Unlock"/"Domestic Unlock" operation, then try to do the next:
1. Dial *#0011# and in the service menu do the following.
2. Click "Menu" then "Key input" then input Q then press "Ok".
3. Click "Menu" then "Back".
4. Click "Menu" then "Key input" then input 0000 then click "Ok".

After these steps Hidden menu should open. In Hidden menu, depending on available options, try to do the following:

I.

Press UMTS
Press DEBUG SCREEN
Press PHONE CONTROL
Press NETWORK CONTROL
Set GCF to ON

II.

Press [2] UE SETTING & INFO
Press [1] SETTINGS
Press [4] GCF
Set [1] GSM/(E)GPRS/WCDMA GCF to ON

After these actions go to Settings -> Mobile Networks and Set Network Mode to Automatic, or GSM.

octoplus no unlock l720 and l720t android 5.0.1

re flash L720VPUFNG2 root and unlock

How to downgrade L720t from 5.0.1 to 4.4.2? I tried with odin but failed. Or is there a way to root 5.0.1? i need to repair MEID

there is no option of GCF on there are some other options.. check on

GSM/E/GPRS/WCDMa rel 8 -- rel 7 rel 6 and so on.. what to do next?
