Hello.

UART cable is not needed for connection. This problem is already being research.

But, as You can see from Software log, phone's modem part is damaged:
Quote:
SW version: Unknown
This can be Software (modem firmware or EFS is damaged, or You have written unsuitable firmware) or HW problem.

You should re-flash the device with different firmwares one by one and check, whether modem is correct (not Unknown). And only then (when phone's modem part will be correct) perform "Repair IMEI" operation. It is not possible to repair IMEI, if phone's modem part is damaged.

I have to try out all the service firmware (4.0.4 .... 4.1 .... 4.4), separate modems, recorded / erased EFS - no result. When changing imei requires uart cable.

If after writing of all firmwares, which You have, phone's baseband is still null or unknown (SW version is Unknown) - most likely, this is HW problem (problem with eMMC flash chip).

You can also try to write Full Flash file via eMMC. Full Flash file for this model is available in the Support Area.
