Note:
1. "Read Codes" works without root.
2. "Read Codes" operation doesn't affect/touch any data in the phone (Knox, User data, Security), so you can perform the operation without any risk.
3. If device has damaged/modified security or some necessary data, codes can't be found/read, in this case credits will be not charged from your account.
4. Devices with Unlock App (branded to T-Mobile, MetroPCS etc.) are not supported!
5. Make sure device requests to enter unlock code and only then perform “Read Codes” operation!
6. Attentive! If your device doesn't request codes, then credits aren't refundable
How to perform "Read Codes" operation:
1. Select necessary device from the list in Software.
2. Connect the device to PC via USB cable.
3. Enable ADB.
4. Press "Read Codes" button.

Before to perform the "Unlock" or "Read Codes" operation You must check IMEI Certi status and MIPI status.

Type: *#0011# and check attentively

MIPI device fail - means, that device has hardware problem and after unlocking/entering codes network may be disabled (inactive)!

Cert fail - means, that IMEI is damaged or written incorrect IMEI Cert, so also after unlocking/entering codes network may be disabled (inactive)!


Note: please always use the latest Software version! Not actual Software version may not support the latest device security type and "Read Codes" or "Unlock" operation may be not successful!

Changes in User Agreement
1. Activations transfer.
Activations in your possession will be transferred without precautions within warranty period to a new box, if the old card was damaged and the replacement was approved as a repair measure by technical support.
Non-warranty box activations in case of loss, card damage or theft, can be transferred to other Octopus box or dongle that belongs to you, or newly purchased box or dongle, whereas some limitations may apply, within period of 6 months after last of any server operation or card update.
You must contact technical support by means of e-mail as soon as possible in cases of loss or theft to block unauthorized use of your equipment.

2. Server Credits issues
Server credits issues, like credits loss, double charge must be reported as soon as possible to the following e-mail [email protected], but not later than 7 days after operation has been performed. Issue report must contain log files, box serial number and Octoplus credits username.
Be aware that outdated claims will be declined. For more information please refer to Credits Issues Troubleshooting on our web or support forum.

CREDIT BASED OPERATIONS ISSUE / ACCOUNT/ UNLOCK/READ CODES via SERVER ISSUE TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE



1. Device was not Unlocked/ Read Codes Not Found / Errors during operation (credits wasn't withdrawn)


Possible Reason:
  • New firmware/ security version, device isn't supported, drivers / cable issues.
Solution:
  • Please, post all information in detail in forum with logs.


2. Device was not Unlocked/ Read Codes Not Found / Errors during operation (credits withdrawn)


Possible Reasons:
  • Security was damaged or modified.
  • Drivers or connection issue (cable problem, internet timeout).
  • Firmware version is too old or damaged (SW- modem part) after downgrade attempt.
Solution:
  • check that IMEI and SW version are correct, not Unknown or NULL/ 000000000.
  • repeat Unlock/ Read Codes operation from the same Internet connection using same account and same box or dongle.
  • make sure that all drivers are installed correctly and devices can be detected via USB cable (check Device manager)
  • send us email to: [email protected] with detailed issue description,but not later than 7 days after operation has been performed, attach log files, box serial number and Octoplus credits username if none of above had worked.
P.S. EMAIL WITHOUT LOGS, SN, ACCOUNT NAME WILL BE IGNORED!


3. Device doesn't accept Codes:

Possible Reason:
  • Firmware version is too old or damaged (SW- modem part) after downgrade attempt.
Solution:
  • Try to reflash the device with stock firmware, do Factory Data Reset and repeat entering codes attempt.
  • send us email to: [email protected] with detailed issue description, attach log files, box serial number and Octoplus credits username if none of above had worked
P.S. EMAIL WITHOUT LOGS, SN, ACCOUNT NAME WILL BE IGNORED!


4. User's fault, not following Software manual and instructions, PC stops, lose electricity, etc:

Possible Reason:

  • If You ignore Software manual or Software instructions/ warnings, credits will not be refunded!
Solution:
  • Always read Software manual by pressing "Help" or "Cable & Manual" button in Software before doing anything and strictly follow software instructions!





NOTE: ANY POST ABOUT CREDIT BASED OPERATIONS: UNLOCK / READ CODES / ACCOUNT ISSUE WILL BE DELETED. All issues will be fixed only via email!


Please don't worry if you were charged twice, credits will be refunded.
