Can't download firmware due to session expire

can't download firmware due to session expire. Why Why why?

Especially, i am facing this problem after downloading more than 1 gb size file. Here, in my country internet is too slow and takes about 7-8 hours to download the file about 1.3 gbs in size.

So, either give us the option to download firmware resume from any percentage or make all file size split say 512 or 1 gb
in size. So that later when we download all split files and put in one folder and unzip with RAR or 7Zip etc program.

I have download this i7300i more than 3 times always fail of SESSION EXPIRE. Same as I have tried SC-04E and SC-01F but same error ie. SESSION EXPIRE.

Please don't use third-party software for downloads from Support Area. Try to download firmware directly via browser.

Brother, when i download with DAP, it takes speed upto 120 kbps but while I try to download with Browser, it takes speed only 30 to 40 kbps. You mean I have to wait full 1 day for a single file ?

I have no problem to download from browser but make your site faster. And if it stop if same cause what should I do?


DAP has no problem upto 1 to 1.3 GB but when the size bigger than this then it shows error like i have post previous post.

mpost likley, the problem is with your Internet connection. Try to download via another Internet connection, via another ISP.

In current situation of your service is that if someone download and he pause the download and if he download later say 3 - 4 hours later or other day, or after PC restart, then, he can't download it from the last place (% download) he has saved in his PC. In such a case, it says SESSION Expire.


If you give RESUME after i download for few hours and continue downloading in another day....that will help for everyone.


Currently, when i download few minute and if internet disconnect then I have to download from beginning. Why like this? If you give the opportunity to download resume then that will help for us. For that you can add exception ip address in your server so that i can download any time and any size.

Think more smart ways

Again I have tried with browser and when i have found it is not increasing, then i have paused it:

Then, I have tried to resume the download, it breaks

So, its from GSM Server issue, not from my site brother. If from my site, of course, it resumes the download after i have tried to resume.

There is no any issue. You shouldn't paused downloading process. If you will pause the process, You need to download firmware from the beginning. Downloading from the paused position is not supported.

click on resume its will ask for new link click ok then wait it will fail login

leave it idm on waiting then login again with software then download again same file
u r file will resume where u were

Sometimes, internet interrupt due to isp problem then i have to download from beginning ( This is not good. we need resume anytime.

Check SAM Firmware, it's working any time we resume So, I am sure it is your server problem, need to fix or make split big files

Your support site is worthless. I am able to download file from free site where we don't need to pay for file but here we pay for box including file. When we are not able to download big size file due to not resume problem ....Is not this worthless and non support oriented ?

So, what should I expect from Octopus support? Only flashing 92th century devices only? because 21 and 22 century's file I can't download. So the supporters are Suggesting me to sale Octopus box and start flash from ODIAN ?

i do many time always download that file whitch u resume

i pause file will download next day see server speed is best
