Member: 10582 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 98 | New revision SIM-EMU 4.01 http://simemu.com http://perso.wanadoo.es/djabif http://www.meigo.com/simemu News 1) Solved the problem with some Motorola models In some models, it was impossible to configure SIM-EMU from menu. After introducing of IMSI, the phone went to main display, not allowing to finish the configuration. 2) Solved the problem with Nokia Sometimes, the SIM-EMU menu dissapears, being necessary the reprogrammation of the flash to solve the problem. 3) Instruction INCREASE implemented This instruction is necessary for the correct operation of the SIM-EMU in some countries to control the credit on the phone. 4) Permanent information in the display of actual position selected Configuring in the phone a currency equal to POS, in some phones that show the remaining credit always in the display, the SIM-EMU shows the actual position as current credit. (For suggestion of Alf) 5) New option in the Information menu about SimCard8 product of UCABLES In accorandance with the commercial agreement with UCABLES, this option shows the commercial product that includes the SIM-EMU. 6) Compatibility with Cardinal to work correctly with the phonebook. As nobody has corrected the Cardinal soft to support the character by character mode of recording according with an ISO rule, I decided, like Programmer in your programm, to include an special code to support the Cardinal correctly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTICE In this revision, only is neccesary to write the Flash and introduce your data again, through SMS, through menu or from PC with script Grabar_SMS.xvb if we have stored our messages of configuration in the PC. Thanks and sorry for my poor english Last edited by simemu; 06-03-2002 at 02:05. |

To protect the internal EEPROM of the flash, you must check the CPD bit in ICProg. Regards | |
