Problem with SIM-emu 4.01 - GSM-Forum

Hi,

Good work on simemu. However I have a problem getting it to work for me. I've been using the twinsim hex on a goldcard for a while which worked fine but I decided to upgrade to a silvercard with simemu. I used Eurocrypt's configuration program to enter my IMSI/Ki pairs and pin codes etc and programmed the card.

The "sim" works fine, the phone (nokia 6210) accepts the PIN and all menus work including the simemu one. But none of the accounts work - I don't get any networks. This has me puzzled since it worked fine with the gold card.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Mate mine did that too, just burn it as original without Euro's configurer

Seems it *sometimes* doesnt enter the information correctly (atleast it didnt work with 4.01 with mine or my mates, and I did makesure I got the files correct, etc)

4.00 was excellent and Euro did a great job, hope 4.01 can be fixed to work 100%

In the mean time just program the card without entering anything and configure the sims through the phone (pin 1111 then go to edit pos)

Thanks, I'll try that. I'd hoped I wouldn't have to because typing the Ki into the phone is tedious due to the mixture of letters and numbers but I'll let you know how I get on.

Sounds strange, your probs.
I´m running 4.01 without hazzle, everything work´s as it should.

Anyone else testing my configurator with probs or success ??

I'm still having problems entering settings into the phone. Selecting the network manually I get "no access" so it seems there's a definite problem with IMSI/Ki.

Eurocrypt do you have v4.00 with the configurator and I will try that?

I'm still having problems gettin this to work, very strange consider it works without fail in a gold card with both IMSI/Ki pairs

Surely it's not possible that the card isn't programmed properly since the SIM would not work at all? Everything works except I get "no access" to the network.
