COMP128 V2.

Hi jsompis,

Sim Doctor donīt extract Ki in COMP128 v2. It use the collision method... :(

This thailand user are wrong respect to this....

@Sir Graham
first time i heard that from this i don't believed him, coz i think comp128v2 can't extract ki by any s/w & h/w now, but him confirm him can do it and it work as original sim.

to prove this by myself, To day i will buy sim doctor and test it with comp128v2 then will report result to forum.

JSompis

Hi jsompis,

Ok. You can buy this product...

but donīt work.. and only works with his reader (and his reader only works with SIMDoctor... :( )....

One question for you:

How know the thailand user if your card is COMP128 v2?
(Is possible, he is wrogn and his card are COMP128 v1...)
Have this emulator COMP128 v2?
Can change this emulator between COMP128 v1 and v2?

... more problems to solve.... :D

All you info about if are welcome...

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

i saw something about "GSM algorithm type select" in simdoctor it has 2 options => a3/a8 v1 and a3/a8 v2. do u have any idea about this setting.

Sim Doctor

Hi jsompis,

This is the answer a one of my questions (before message):
Have this emulator "10-in-1" COMP128 v2?

I suppose this emulator "10-in-1" supports the two functions COMP128 v1 and COM128 v2. It can be use COMP128 v1 or V2 with the Ki do you have...

Other question is:

Can Sim Doctor extract Ki from original SIM with COMP128 v2?
I afraid It canīt extract this number... :(

If you see the SIM Doctor 6 manual you can see:

Quote:

SIM Doctor 6 User’s Manual

d. Change GSM Algorithm:
Change the GSM algorithm of the 10-in-1 SIM to A3/A8 V1 or A3/A8 V2.
This manual says "10-in-1" not original card and Change the algorimt not extract from algoritm.

However, This card is more interesting (to experiment).
Because you can change from one COMP128 v1 to v2 and can be change the Ki also...

What version of this SIM Doctor have you?
(I like more experiments with this card)

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.

=== > Can Sim Doctor extract Ki from original SIM with COMP128 v2?

i try extract ki from thailand orange simcard ( i am thai ) which comp128v2 simcard ( i say this coz sim_scan give me red number ), but it say this simcard can't clone. i think simdoctor can't extract ki of comp128v2 simcard.

i use simdoctor hardware v2 and software 6.0.5.0( come with pakage) and 6.1.8.6(download from this forum).

i hope this information can help u to develope comp128v2 emulator and ki extracktor..

Yes. But.... You have a Comp128 V2 emulator. The "10 in 1" support COMP128 v2!!!!
This is very interested...!!! I think I buy one SIM Doctor 6 with this card to experiment with it...

Sir Graham.

@Sir Graham

can you expand meaning of this paragraph :

From SIM Doctor 6 Manual
------------------------------------------------------------------
When the KI calculation of your SIM card fail:
All SIM cards are designed not to yield KI information. There are some SIM cards
that can not be decoded at all. Please choose networks that issue standard Comp 128
SIM cards. If the network uses Comp 128-2 or special A3/A8 algorithm, you would
need a super computer to calculate its KI.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

dose it mean =>
sim doctor can extract ki from comp128-2 , but must use super computor to extract it ????

COMP128 v2

Hi Jompis,

I see... je,je,je...
I think this only an excuse of the product.

This program donīt extract the COMP128 v2. It uses collision method and this donīt work with the COMP128 v2.

Well, They put this note in his manual and as you never have got a Super-maxi-deluxe-hiper computer... You canīt try... je,je,je... Itīs increible....

However, can you make a try? I like make a try with this card and XSim. is it possible?.

my email is [email protected] .You can send me a email and I explain the details...

Best Regards,
Sir Graham.
