Member: 8804 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | what color are your cards? if they are gold or silver, then you may have a smartmouse, if they are fun cards, then you probably have a parrelel funcard programmer. or better yet, what is the name of your hardware? is it connected to the serial port ? to be sure what is happening, do one of the following : 1-in the eprogram you use to program your cards. what is it? check the setup section in it, if the port it is connected to, COM1 or COM2, move on to the next line here. if anything else, like LPT1 or LPT2, get a smartmouse. 2- , check the speed in MHz, & match it on the setup screen of sim_scan . also match the COM port you are using. 3- download sim_scan 1.22 to generate par2.bin or ask in the form for someone to mail it to you, sim_scan 1.33 will NOT generate the file, & it is needed to extract KI & IMSI. after you get the file, PAR2.bin, put it in th edirectory c:\sim_scan run setup.bat adjust the settings like explained before. run F5 if you are using sim_scan 1.33, alf reported F2 working great without burning any cards, if you are not sure, use F3. Good luck. check the board of your device, there should be a crystal on it, displaying the number 3.57 or 6.00 or 6.12 |

Member: 13034 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | After all, i'm not sure if it will read goldcards... i've only tested wafercards on it, but i think it can use goldcards too. The program i use is "MultiProgrammer". I cant find any place where Mhz speed is mentioned... I know it is connected to COM1. When i try sim_scan on com1 and the default mhz speed (the one at the top), i always get this message, "Fatal Error: Card don't send answer to reset !" I don't have the par2.bin, but is suppose this is no the problem yet. Do you know that a "Millennium" programmer can be used to do this or do you just "think" it can be used? Would i get another error message if the programmer wasn't compatible? |
