i have flashed it 3 time with 4.0.4 and 4.1.2

Try to

-Flash with Orignal Firmware
-do factory Reset
-then check iF imei & Baseband still Unknown THEN this HARDWARE PROBLEM

We have one method for this model
i9300 baseband problem is rf ic always but try write efs or check via other firmware too

hi im tryng to repair mine still null and i do all procedure

Turn-on the Phone Goto 'Settings > Application > Development'
And Check 'Usb Debugging' Then Connect Usb Cable To Phone And Install Needed Driver.

Note: Phone Must be Rooted and be in AirPlane Mode
For Restore PB Operation You Must Install Busybox in additional of all this

last software stage u can writting full dump with jtag tools ,may be solve ur problem.
