Turn on debugging
Connect phone, change mode to Charging.
Qualcom platform in Sigma
You will get 2 ports "ALCATEL HS-USB Android DIAG 9018". Select Second one.
Press Direct unlock.

Mak1e, What version of Alcatel 7040 do you have exactly?
Root it and unlock it with Yoda method. Show the log after that.

It is Metropcs Alcatel Fierce II 7040N-2CE4US1.

I can't find any root solutions for this phone yet :(

I followed the instructions from the above and the Alcatel HS-USB port never showed up :(

Please HELP !!!!!

Seems like that you have Qcom version of this phone.

is not fake I have unlock 7040t and 7040n from metro pcs and ymobile and I using XP the only thing that I did was to download alcatel driver from the alcatel web page
I'm going to unlock one more later and upload son pcs so you can see

Oh yeah? So just because you cant figure it out even though i posted instructions that makes me a FAKE? I just unlocked 20 7040N Metro today for someone. Overall I have done more than 100 pcs. And here is proof of one of those I did today showing ATT service. Next time be careful when calling someone a fake. Ask nicely and you will receive more help/instructions.

Ok confirmed 100% working solution I just did one few moments ago, Alcatel 7040N got it today brand new from the metro store, android 4.4.2 build C66UP63 . No root needed at all just connect phone to USB and select to charge only, enable USB debugging and wait for drivers to be installed, now open sigma on qualcomm platform select port ALCATEL HS-USB Android DIAG 9018 , com will vary on each machine, it does not matter, when port selected click on direct unlock and wait, when process is done just reboot phone manually and you are done!

7040n ready unlock sigmakey

if the signal comes only * # * # 4636 # * # * it on gsm and ready

the fake solution that can unlock the 7040n 100% done
