ELE-L29 upgrade due to LCD change - GSM-Forum

I have at me Huawei P30 that need to change LCD - totally damaged. The phone is at 9.x.x.xxx EMUI and need to get a 02352NLL [It's black] Like part number for and LCD.

Currently Huawei do not deliver 02352NLL anymore, so it's replaced by 02354HLT. The last one service pack need 11.0.0.xxx Like version to be working.

Now i was check the new LCD on updated board - all is fine - it's working.

Put old board in to new front module and store important data just in case and remove Huawei ID and FRP again just in case:

Cannot write a readout from 11.x.x.xxx to a old FW board?

What can be wrong?

P.S. I wasn't found a factory upgrade UPDATE.APP for a 11.x.x.xxx

Any hint is welcome.

@ debeliamark,

Try performing following operations:
1. Pefrorm "Load fastboot" operation on Service tab
2. Select suitable flash file
3. Reflash the phone with it

When the phone powers on normally, reflash the phone in Upgrade mode.

There i have a difficulty to find an 11.x.x.xxx upgrade firmware, even and OTA, so - was Update SigmaKey SW from 2.44.00 to 2.44.01 and make again READOUT from working ELE-L29 11_0_0_156(C431E10R2P3) ... the new readout with new SigmaKey App do the job - phone is flashed [Have in mind my brand new LCD do not work on lower that Harmony OS ... and i don't see anything]. Finally say that filesystem is corrupt and ask me to reset it, but LCD is working now.

Isn't working phone code / fingerpring - probably due to i was make a Huawei ID remove BEFORE to update phone. Now going to update it online to 11.0.0.174 and let me see ...

The hint - avoid a readout from Kirin 980 with version lower that 2.44.01

Will keep in touch about.

Hmmm... OTA update [ 4.xx GB ] to 11.0.0.174 do not help to get back working screen lock, Face ID and FingerPrint ... so - i'm back at begining... need 02352NLL LCD to make DOWNGRADE and restore functionality of phone locks...

Probably to rewrite back some of backups of OEM, security and calibration will not help...

HHHHHHMMMM... stupid.
