i m writing since last year but no solution
but some people doing online

first of all we must thank the honorable team that was the first to find servicing new kirin of huawei
must remember that instead of that we could be fighting on downgrading at the risky methods guys
and returning to errors
error writng to serial port could be due to
1 battery
2 kirin
annnd the thing that i've found is the connector of phones and the components around it
just look at this side also
error during flashing is battery for sure also during booting ...always check

concerning remove id p40 pro harmony os
other models than highest kirins
is simple
if version lower is very simple just use the modified cable
if not just dongrade with the same contry and oem info
if u done the id before
u'll find it done after downgrade
if it is 990 5G or similar
must not go to version 10.1 directly
just do the 11
hard reset handset
and do the ID remove sometimes more than once
don't forget to buck up the hole flash

Hi i mentioned that i've downgrade it to v11
First time i did os 10.1
And it didn't worked bro
And i upgrade to next level 11
And it worked for the first try after factory reset
I saw someone here in forum did it at the third try after factory for sure
If you want i will bring logs from sigma folder
..your case is error writing to serial port..
I faced it many times but it was only battery..
But i agree that there are some handsets that couldn't be serviced even with good level of charge and good connectors
Even tried with changing kirin pc and so on
Once i bought an frp for mate 20 x
There are a few pieces and I think it's from the manufacturer
